Rev. Msgr. Martin E. Feild - Pastor

Monsignor Marty has served as Pastor of St. Joseph since 1995. Prior to his arrival in Taneytown, Monsignor served for ten years as Pastor of St. Peter’s in Oakland, Maryland.

Monsignor was ordained at the Basilica of the Assumption in Baltimore on May 23, 1959 by Archbishop Francis Keough. He subsequently served as Associate Pastor at St. Joseph Church in Cockeysville and St. Clement in Lansdowne before being appointed as pastor at St. Peter’s.

Monsignor Marty celebrated the 50th anniversary of his ordination in 2009.

Rev. Mr. Darrell Smith - Permanent Deacon

A lifelong resident of Taneytown, Deacon Smith had been married to his wife, Ruth, since 1973. He converted to Catholicism and became a member of the St. Joseph community in 1976.

Deacon Smith was ordained as a deacon in 1989 and has served as a permanent deacon at St. Joseph since that time.

A lifelong member of St. Joseph Parish, Barbara has been a member of the staff since 1986.
